Why Manifest Your Life?

I first learned about life manifestation just a year ago. A friend, part of my student group traveling to Europe last summer, shared how she wrote down her manifestations at the beginning of the year. Upon revisiting them last summer, she realized everything she had written down had come true. Intrigued yet skeptical, I decided to explore this concept, as I was very intrigued.

Fast forward to a month ago. While spending time with my mother at a Cleveland hospital during my dad’s recovery, we wandered into the gift shop to pass the time. Among the beautiful items, we discovered a wall of journals, calendars, and more. This is where my journey began. I found a journal named “Manifest Your Dreams.” As I flipped through its pages featuring vision boards, daily goals, and affirmations, I decided to test the idea of manifesting.

Upon returning home from Ohio, I began daily entries in this manifestation journal. Each day, I set goals, expressed what I would let go of, and wrote a daily affirmation. Although I can’t claim that these thoughts occupy my mind all day, I sense they work in my subconscious, shaping my daily thoughts. I can’t explain precisely how this process works, but I’ve noticed a reduction in anxiety about certain things or people, and I’m beginning to truly believe that what I jot down each day is altering my mindset.

Garrain Jones once said, “Change your mindset, change your life,” aligning with the concept of “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne. The idea is that believing something will happen in your life makes it more likely to occur. For instance, a woman desiring a life partner found one after making room in her closet, while a man who cleared out his garage for another car found his partner soon after. Changing your mindset is crucial, but belief in the power of manifesting is equally essential.

To manifest is to be your thoughts entirely. If you constantly project negativity, you’ll attract negativity into your life. Changing your mindset is the key to changing your life. Manifesting is a way of life; it requires time. Your desires will materialize when the time is right. Manifesting is not contradictory to spiritual beliefs; it’s about creating a positive space for yourself and your soul to foster a positive life.

So, find your journal. Some include Bible verses, inspirational quotes, or daily goals. Start small, but never lose faith that through reflection, planning, and manifesting, you can change your life for the better.
